6TH MEETING!!!

Today we don't have music practical class again :( instead we have a surprised presentation to do, that's just great ==" we were a sign in groups. My group was Verena and Ronaldo. We had to talk a little bit about the old ERA of music to the new one. :D it was depressing  because i did not do the home work (BTW i forgot about it :p) So we had to use the information that we had luckily Mr. Harry was kind enough to give us more sources so we use those too :D in the end our presentation failed ==" So next week we HAVE TO REDO IT WIT A POWER POINT, Lucky is for all of us :D. what i can improve on is to be more responsibility with my work and be more confident to speak up in front of audience. I've learn about the different composers in different ERA and how they become the most success full ones also i learn about the different type of music in the old days.

5th meeting

Today we don't have music practical class :( in other hand we have an assessment today (that's just great -__") Today our assessment is to sing any popular western music, and my song was Love you like a love song bye Selena Gomez.  What Selena said about the song :"This song is fun and I wanted it to be really high fashion and different and I think we have accomplished that It’s basically talking about how crazy you are about someone whenever it’s the beginning. It’s the honeymoon stage if you will." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_You_Like_a_Love_Song) The reason that i chose this song because it has a funky tune, express what i'm feeling and of course i'm a fan of her work :D!!!
I think i did well for my assessment although i need to be more confident in my performance and just chill round during it. What i need to do on my next performance is that i have to take a higher note of song, be confident and be relax during the performance. 

4th meeting

Today is the first of August and today was just another day like before, actually is the 4th meeting of music theory class.  Since today is still the refreshing we review back to what we learn last meeting and Mr. John taught us faster method to calculate or search for the sharps. And than after explaining for 1/3 of the session it was time for us to practice bowing in front of the class (It's just a waste of time because is not useful at all) than it was time for us to go to the music practical class.

Today we start playing with our instrument and it was fun to finally learn something new ( it's  been more than a year i haven't play with the violin. Even though i can only play one song i love to play around with my violin) we were given homework to practice more on our instrument.
What I can do for my next class probably be more active and practice more on my instrument so that way my teacher won't give up on me that easy :D

1st week of music class (3 meetings)

This is another year in music class, it's good to be back and learn more about music. Today in music theory class we were given the list of what to bring as always, than our assignments for this semester and of course the detail about this term assignments. Even though the class was super duper boring it was nice to relax at the end of the day.

We were a little bit late to go to our music practical class and it feels good to be late cause we don't have our music instrument yet so we use the time to talk to the teacher. And in the end we haven't learn anything on that day so i bet the next class we'll learn something new!!! FYI I can't play the violin, the only song that i can play is twinkle- twinkle little star.

Second day of music theory class we review back to grade 7. Which we learn how to find the sharps and flats notes and review the scale, than we discuss for next week assessment ( I know right the first 2 weeks of music class we've already get an assessment and that's so not fair!)

The second class for music practical i don't know what to do cause we have to take turn to play and turns out we keep talking but at least we play something right? well we discuss about what to bring to the next music class. And i have no idea what to bring ( i mean a paper of notes that i can play with) So i'm doom cause like i told you i can't play violin accept for twinkle- twinkle.  BTW wish me luck for the assessment which is singing in front of the class ( good thing we can sing any popular song :D)
